Not really understanding what I was doing, and being brand new to the game, I built my base on the cliffside beside the river in square 9L on this handy map I found a while ago posted on this subreddit. Most importantly every player can only have 1 major building (which can only be so wide, but no limits on tallness). Since demolishing other players' structures is disabled, there are instead rules on how much one can build. So I'm currently very new to the game and am currently playing on a PvE server a few friends of mine are on.
